Description
In this book from the late 1970's, Ellington Darden gives advice on exercise and diet for a woman trying to stay healthy, gain strength, and build muscle. He makes accounts of science-based exercise to build muscle mass and breaks the myths made around women building muscle. During this time, women's role in society was still being subjugated to prejudice.
ID: The image shows a book that appears to be worn from age and use. The front cover reads "Especially for Women" with Ellington Darden, Ph.D. at the bottom. It also has a selection of pictures with women running and working out. The back cover shows various quotes of elite level female bodybuilders and athletes giving kudos to Dr. Darden's book along with the words "Featuring Nautilus Conditioning Principles" at the bottom. Both the back and front cover have considerable scratching, with the edges of the book having rubbing damage.
