Description

This edition of Ye by Kanye West features a single 12-inch LP, an album cover, and an inner sleeve that contains the vinyl record. The album cover features a photograph of a mountainous scene and a cloudy sky, with the text “I hate being Bipolar, it's awesome” in neon green. The text appears handwritten and informal, in contrast to the photo in the background. The back cover continues the landscape imagery with minimal additional design elements, maintaining a cohesive visual presentation across the sleeve, and additionally contains information about credited artists and the publishing label at the bottom. The music in the album itself covers topics including Kanye West's mental health issues, bipolar disorder, and certain related experiences and fears within his life, all topics that correspond with the theming of the artwork on the album cover.
