A 1942 civilian practice test booklet designed to help men prepare for U.S. Army Air Corps officer qualification exams. The cover features bold red, white, and blue design theme with a biplane illustration. It lists 10 specialty fields in which candidates could become officers: Pilots, Navigators, Bombardiers, Meteorologists, Communications, Photographers, Glider Pilots, Engineers, Armaments, and Mechanics. These types of booklets were important during World War 2 because as the US needed new highly skilled soldiers these booklets helped speed up training.
