In this image there is a haft-seen table which is a table set up during the Nowruz which consists of 7 things that start with the letter "س" or seen, sabzeh which is sprouts, samanu (sweet pudding), senjed (oleaster), sir (garlic), seeb (apples), somāq (sumac),serkeh (vinegar), there is also often a mirror in the middle and sometimes people put their own things that are important to them like my mom bakes Persian pastries and we put cookies on our haft-seen tables.
