Description

In this image there is a haft-seen table which is a table set up during the Nowruz which consists of seven things that start with the letter "س" or seen, sabzeh (sprouts), samanu (sweet pudding), senjed (oleaster), sir (garlic), seeb (apples), somāq (sumac), serkeh (vinegar). There is also often a mirror in the middle and sometimes people put their own things that are important to them such as Persian pastries and cookies on our haft-seen tables.
