The GMC-500+ is a device that measures and detects radiation. It is specifically designed for beta, gamma, and x-ray radiation. The device possesses two different Geiger‑Müller tubes for detecting different radiation levels, allowing it to detect up to ten times what the GMC-500 can. It also provides both visual signals, such as the counts on the screen, and audio signals, ticking with an increased frequency to alert users to the presence of radiation. It is one of the only handheld Geiger counters available for the public and is proven to be accurate and helpful in emergencies and everyday life.
