Description

The Revere 8 Model 40 camera is a spring-wind video camera. Originally sold for $100, three additional lenses and a cowhide carrying case could have been purchased for an additional cost. The manual for the camera includes a section titled “Movie Tips” that includes suggestions such as “Plan your scenes,” “inject human interest,” and “Introduce variety by changing camera angles”.

ID: The top of the camera has a “Slide-o-matic View-Finder Button” with the numbers 9, 13, 25, and 38. The left side of the camera has two turn knobs, a sliding operating button, and a winding key. The front of the camera includes the lens and a turning knob to unlock the camera. The right side of the camera has a short exposure guide manual for colored subjects. Lastly, a wrist strap is located at the bottom of the camera.
